Eclipse Hangs when trying to clone/create a repository or when trying to configure in prefrences

As you can imagine, we'd be swamped with reports about it ;-) if that happened for everyone. So I suppose it's something on your end.

Any screenshots? Error logs? Can you clone from the command line using C git? What protocol are you using for the clone URL? Is the repository publicly accessible, and if so, where? If you're behind a proxy: have you configured the proxy settings in Eclipse? (Preferences->General->Network Connections)
