It would be nice (especially when you have too many projects to see without scrolling in the package explorer) to be able to see if any project in the package explorer is modified. One nice way to do this would be to put the little modified (*) decorator on the icon on the Package Explorer tab itself. A small change but perhaps a nice little one.
