Currently, opening the aird editor from an aird fragment open the editor on this fragment. 

We should open the root aird parent of the fragment.

Note that this is not always possible. In the context of a Modeling project we can, because there is a guarantee that such a project will contain exactly one top-level aird. In other contexts it is perfectly possible to have multiple parent aird files anywhere in the workspace which reference the same aird fragment that the user has clicked on.
