The wizard "Create new representation" accessible from aird editor should have a checkbox "Open new representation after creation" that when checked will open the representation in Sirius modeler after creation. And when not checked, it will not open it.

The checkbox should be present either in the models selection page or in the representation description selection page regarding the launch context that is either from a model element by using right clic menu "New representation" or by using the New button of representations block.
