Download.eclipse.org is very unreliable the last days querying the update sites at eclipse.org is very unstable the last days. see e.g. https://github.com/eclipse/xtext-xtend/issues/213 http://services.typefox.io/open-source/jenkins/job/xtext-eclipse/job/cd_betterFullbuildTest/1/ same locally when try to setup eclipse with oomph etc
Can confirm, we're seeing this too here since at least yesterday. Most of our Tycho builds are either very very slow or completely broken with timeout errors while accessing Eclipse repos. Example from a few minutes ago: [ERROR] Internal error: org.eclipse.tycho.repository.local.MirroringArtifactProvider$MirroringFailedException: Could not mirror artifact osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.acceleo.compatibility.ui.source,3.7.1.201705110616 into the local Maven repository.See log output for details. connect timed out -> [Help 1] The previous attempt failed with: Unable to read repository at http://download.eclipse.org/sirius/updates/nightly/5.0.x/neon/tests/content.xml. Connect to download.eclipse.org:80 timed out -> [Help 1] Very very frustrating...
I am looking into this.
Created attachment 268286 [details] Screenshot Our monitor at OSU OSL is seeing this too -- the gray line indicates numerous timeouts from midnight to 6:00am local time, with sporadic timeouts throughout the day.
