Error sharing project with SAPUI5 ABAP system

When attempting to share project to SAPUI5 ABAP Repository, I get the error
"Updating synchronization state of new project" has encountered a problem.

An internal error occurred during: "Updating synchronization state of new project"

could you please attach your <workspace>/.metadata/.log that contains an exception error message? (It can be also found in one of <workspace>/.metadata/.bac_*.log files in case the log is backed up already by Eclipse).

Not sure if the issue is anyhow related to JSDT... at least the error message shows a source management system's communication error rather than a JSDT-related error.

As such, I'm lowering the importance of the issue and still requesting more info regarding the issue.
