In the project view, the list of views under a trace are only available when the trace is opened. But if the trace is opened in an experiment, they are still not shown.

While we can open most views through the Windows -> Show View menu, it is not the case for XML views, so if we want to open an XML view under a kernel trace that is in an experiment, we need to open the kernel trace alone, have the view opened, then re-select the experiment. That workflow is tedious when the traces are very big.
