The global build log is closed before all writes to it have been completed, causing some writes not to make it to the log file.

This came up while investigating Bug 314428 and existed before my fixes to that bug and still exist.

AFAICT only the goodbye message (e.g. 22:30:36 Build Finished (took 70ms)) is missing, but not exhaustively investigated.
