1. Double click a MANIFEST.MF to open the ManifestEditor 2. Switch to plugin.xml tab 3. Invoke context menu Team > Show Annotations Expected: I'd like to see the history anntations on plugin.xml Actual: I get thrown back to MANIFEST.MF and see annotations of that file I have to close the editor and re-open it by double clicking plugin.xml to complete the desired operation. Apparently, the ManifestEditor incompletely tries to hide the fact that it combines several files, preferring the file that was used for opening the editor. Interestingly, the user doesn't even see which is the underlying file.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
