Provide support in PDE for advanced source look up From Igor "From user perspective, the advanced source lookup provides correct source lookup when runtime classpath is not fully known in advance and/or contains multiple versions of the same class. It also downloads sources archives from remote artifact repositories automatically when they are needed. No manual source lookup path configuration is needed. In other words, the source lookup just works (at least it fails far less frequently)."
@Igor, will you take this up for 4.9 ? Even Junit Plug-in test does not use advanced source lookup right now.
Yes, PDE support is on my todo list, but I don't know when I will have time to work on it and can't promise any particular release/date.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie.
