Description Filip Balas CLA 2004-01-18 20:52:05 EST
I just installed a clean version of M6.

I followed the install instructions using live install.

All of the components (as indicated in the manual install)
were present and in their appropriate locations.

When I run eclipse, non of the aspectJ features are available.
When I go to the plugin status, I recieve the following:

No plug-in: "org.eclipse.aspectj" included at runtime.

No plug-in: "org.aspectj.ajde" included at runtime.

No plug-in: "org.eclipse.ajdt.ui" included at runtime.

I even installed everything manually again to ensure everything
was in its place. Still no AJDT features can be accessed.

Same here. Win2k, AspectJ 1.1.4, Eclipse 3.0 M6.
Also tried both ways.

Any known workarounds?

Unfortunately, AJDT 1.1.4 works only with Eclipse 3M4 or earlier.
To work with Eclipse 3M8, AJDT 1.1.7 is required, which will be available soon.
Eclipse versions between 3M4 and 3M8 are not supported.

1.1.7 now released which supports M8.
