Description Silvio Böhler CLA 2004-01-14 10:37:47 EST
I20040113

* Take some Java file and select more than a (visible) page of text.
* Select 'Source' > 'Comment'

Observations:
- The editor viewport is moved to the top of the selection (i.e. the first
  selected line becomes the first visible line), regardless of where it has
  been before.

- The cursor is placed at the end of the selection, and is due to the
  large selection not visible anymore in the editor's view port.

- Even if the selection has been taken by dragging it from the bottom to the
  top, the cursor end up at the end of the selection.

The same is valid for 'Uncomment'.

Comment/Uncomment should not change the cursor and the editor viewport positions.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
