org.eclipse.sphinx.emf.ecore.new ECrossReferenceAdapter() {...} has, according to comments, workarounds for

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=400887
and
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=400891

Both are fixed, so it might be possible to remove the workaround.
