Ladies and Gents,

It would be VERY helpful for people to know the SOURCE and DESTINATION for the merges-- or more simply, the FROM version and TO version. I realize we've attempted to simplify the merges with various dialog boxes, but in each case, the documentation, the dialog box and the field labels refer to each repo source as "URL"-- it makes no distinction between which URL, which WAY the merge will go, etc. See this documentation to get a flavor for what I mean:

https://eclipse.org/subversive/documentation/teamSupport/merge_dialog.php

Would you please, pretty please, be more specific as to the direction and sources of the urls? Specifically:

- label each url as SOURCE or DESTINATION,
AND
- if there is only one URL in the dialog box, clarify in the title bar of the dialog box WHICH DIRECTION the merge will go (from working copy to url or vice versa?).

This is VERY frustrating and confusing and this small change would go a long way to making this too easy to use.

Dialog's quick help (header) part was changed to reflect the most important notes:
+ Select URLs and revisions of the repository resources to merge changes from
+ The target is the working copy. It is recommended to make it clean with no edits or mixed revisions, while for reintegrate merge it is a requirement.
And the way documentation describes the dialog was completely reworked.

P.S.
I know, there are still room for improvement and we will do so later and not just for merge dialog. :)
