The show REferences objects functionality works fine, however, for huge models
the "show referencing objects" functionality can be very slow.

We should try to see if we can

* run it asynchronously
* make it canceable.

In additon, it would also be nice for the future, if we could leverage a potential upcoming IncQuery integration.
