"Show selected element only" is fantastic. I'd be even better if the selected element was vertically centered (margins on the top and bottom) when it's too small for the screen. This would have a more prominent effect with small methods and vertical monitors. Thanks for your time and your work :).

I assume that you'd still like to align to the top if it exceeds the screen, right?

We won't change the current behavior, but would accept a high quality patch that adds such an option.

Yeah, it'd be top-aligned if it's too big. Thinking about it it _could_ get annoying if it re-centered after hitting enter/C-d... but I'd still like to try it. I'll add it to my (ever-expanding) backlog and head back here when I have more time and a patch :). Thanks!
