Object flow color can not be changed from Appearance tab of property view but can be changed from contextual menu (Format>Edit...). That is not consistent (minor but to notice). With Format>edit you can select Font and then a popup windows opens. Then we can select "color icon" and another "color palette" opens. we can choose a color and then we have to go back to the previous popup windows to close it. And then that is it. Quite long and little bit tedious if you have several elements to change. I suppose that reply comment will be: "use styles for that". I did not try.

While styles make sense, they are not the only way to do it (It's only simpler if you want a consistent styling for all your elements) In some cases, the diagram instantiates non-stylable elements that the properties view cannot (automatically) handle
