Description Richard Freggi CLA 2015-09-21 08:48:00 EDT
Add a context menu "Where Used" to Classifiers in Diagram views; and a context menu "Diagrams Using this Element" in the Model Explorer
This way one could navigate from Diagram to the correct Model Explorer view and vice versa, from Model Explorer to Diagram for any Classifier, which is useful in refactoring and when explaining a model to others.

Hi Ri Fr, thanks for your suggestion.

Can you take a look at the current "Navigate" functionality in Neon?
Is this satisfying your needs?
It for instance allows you to navigate to all diagrams in which a Classifier (or any other element) occurs, or navigate to its inheritance parents/children and their occurrences in diagrams, etc.

It does not allow (afaik) to navigate to all typed elements that could be typed by the selected Classifier. Don't you think this list could become huge quickly?

Additionally, any toolsmith would have the possibility to provide his own navigation provider as described here: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Papyrus/Neon_Work_Description/Improvements/Navigation.
