Assume there are 2 plugin project. Plugin project 1 required target 1 and plugin project 2 requires target 2. So for both project to work, you need to have a large target that has target1+target2 Or you need to change target while switching between projects. This bug will investigate if different target could be set for different projects. Since most of PDE assumes a single PDE state, this can be a difficult task for 4.6 The objective here is to investigate and come up with a possible solution. At this present time, this is "not" targeted for 4.6.
The original bug for this is Bug 159072. You should either dupe this bug, or mark it was blocking 159072 an use it for investigative work.
