Searching in Eclipse 3.0 M4 crashed eclipse produced the following file named 
"hs_err_pid3004.log".  

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.

Do you get it regularly?
If yes, you might want to update to a newer VM.
1.4.1_05 is available.

This seems to be related to:
http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4766057.html

And it has nothing to do with Eclipse.

Closing as INVALID. Not an Eclipse problem. VM bug.
