The list of available profiles is always going to be small.  Add a feature to populate the list on first render and not wait for the user to enter an asterisk.

Works for me; the filter is always pre-filled with ** and displays all available profiles (Using Windows 7 too)

Changing severity from enhancement to normal, since this is expected to work -> it's a bug
