Yes, I know the Type Hierarchy view does this if you select the proper options,
but the standard Java Browsing perspective uses Members view and does not offer
this option. It seems obvious to add a local toggle button just like what is on
the Members pane of the Hierarchy view.

How about 3.3 or 3.4? I find it hard to believe more people don't want to see inherited Members...
I'd love to contribute a patch here, but the overhead of learning Eclipse development is too much right now.

You can use Ctrl+O, Ctr+O while in the Java editor

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
