I performed a 'git push' to Github over SSH. The operation was left hanging indefinitely until I closed Eclipse. Environment: - Windows 7 - eclipse.buildId=4.4.2.M20150204-1700 - @org.eclipse.egit.core=3.4.2.201412180340-r - org.eclipse.team.cvs.ssh2 (3.2.400.v20131112-1442) "CVS SSH2" [Active] The push did transfer the changesets to Github, but hung before the local tracking data was updated (I later did a push from Git-bash, it noted there was nothing to transfer and updated the local data). This issue seems nearly identical to https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=2406 which I previously encountered using the command line. That one was resolved by enabling the SSH server bug workaround in Putty. This bug is somewhat bothersome in the UI, as the cancel operation has no effect.
For whatever reason, the Eclipse build id in the 'About Eclipse' is different. That one is Version: Luna Service Release 2 (4.4.2) Build id: 20150219-0600
