At this moment the "add begin section" feature is only available on diagram description. It would be nice to have it also available on the Table (edition and cross table) and a Tree.

The corresponding feature is only defined on DiagramDescription ( 
diagram.ecore in org.eclipse.sirius.diagram plugin) and not on 
RepresentationDescription (viewpoint.ecore in org.eclipse.sirius 
plugin). So the begin operation is currently only available for diagram 
representations but this looks like an interesting idea to make it 
available for the other dialects: Table (edition and cross tables) and 
Tree.
