Having a text field that allows searching a table with a regex would improve useability of edition tables in case of large tables.

While not exactly the same and not as powerful as real regexes, since Sirius 3.0 tables (and trees) support a "Quick Outline" (Ctrl-o) with pattern-filtering to quickly locate a line by text: https://www.eclipse.org/sirius/doc/user/tables/Tables.html#quick_outline

the Ctrl-O is really not enough. a basic text search is required for tables.

For information, this issue could be probably linked to bug 487025. We agree that it would be an interesting improvement. Nevertheless, we have currently not planned to work on it in the following releases.
