Create a standardized user experience:
- with jQuery UI (as already used since 3.x)
- no or less inline style declarations -> extract to css classes

And on top create possibility for simple theming (probably based on jQuery UI theme roller: http://jqueryui.com/themeroller/)

This is clearly a 4.0 UI cleanup feature.
