In the "Apply Patch" dialog, when you are reviewing the patch, you are required to double click the file to switch the compare view to it. It seems more natural to me if you could just single click them and have it show the file. Maybe this is because some other places you do have to double click like the Team Synchronizing perspective, but it allows single click on the History view.
