Situation:
An Eclipse instance with a model file and an aird file.
The correct viewpoint is selected and a representation was created

Now rename or move the model

Result: 
The aird file does not know the model file any more and the representation cannot be opened

Would it be possible to have a listener to get such changes and change them in the aird file without loosing the whole layout?

This looks like the bonus point of bug 441761. 

I do not mark this issue as duplicate as it could allow to explicitly deal with deletion and move of aird and semantic files whereas bug 441761 will deal with the rename participants.
