Dark background in Logic example editor

Eclipse Luna comes with a dark theme. When this dark theme is used editors based on GEF automatically get a dark background (see attached screenshot). I think this behavior is incorrect and the background should stay white. Otherwise the editor becomes close to useless.

I've filed Bug 443408 with Platform UI as the problem is probably with the platform and not with GEF. I added some more context there.
