If the label alignment is set to "Left" on a "Note" style there is no padding between the border and the text. This looks rather ugly. Please provide extra padding or even allow for a property to set this on demand.

You're right.
A workaround is to add spaces to the left of the label expression.

See example:
* One note in yellow with the problem
* One note in blue with workaround
