Description Lars Vogel CLA 2014-08-12 04:41:27 EDT
Once the Target Editor opens Add... a new location of type Software Site. On the next page enter http://download.eclipse.org/releases/luna to work with

Uncheck Group by Category to see a list of all features. Now add following features:

Eclipse e4 Rich Client Platform
Eclipse Platform
Eclipse Platform Launcher Executables
Eclipse Java Development Tools

Use the filter to select these elements. Click Finish without cleaning the selected values As long as the filter is enabled previously selected features that are hidden by the filter will not be considered.

Expected result: Previous selected items are still considered

Not sure if I understood it correctly.

For example, You select XText UI and then you use filter text "Eclipse" and then select Eclipse BIRT example. On finish both contents are added to target definition file.

This is expected. ( previous selected items would be considered even if filter is used and then new selection is made).

If your use-case scenario is different, please mention.

After re-testing this, it seems to work.

@Christian, are you still able to reproduce this issue? You blogged about it in your Tycho series.

I do remember this being an issue at one point with the p2 install dialog. I expect it was fixed by p2.

This one is fixed by now, I guess it already worked with kepler SR2
