Description Konstantin Komissarchik CLA 2014-07-07 23:44:39 EDT
Cases come up where it would be useful to do bulk cleanup of job history. For instance, at a conclusion of a milestone, it is useful to wipe out all previous builds, except for the milestone build.

Automated build retention settings don't work for this since the pattern of deletions isn't regular, it's on a need basis.

Manually deleting builds one at a time is not practical.

An interface is needed where one can check the builds to delete from a list. Such interface would also need select all and select none buttons.

Another scenario where this comes up is when a job configuration is changed to the point that previous history is no longer relevant and can be confusing. At such point, it would be useful to be able to quickly select all builds and delete them.

Sounds like an interesting Enhancement. Wondering where would be the action button/link. Some thing like "Delete Builds" in the sidebar of the Job Dashboard?

That seems reasonable.
