And what I mean by that are the places where you can enter "script" code or "ant" or "maven code"? 

I sometimes find I make "silly" errors by leaving out a quote, or something, and even the most basic "syntax highlighting" editors would help prevent that type of error. 

I'm partially suggesting it, since I think such "browser based editors" already exist, so might not be too much trouble to provide some basic functionality (such as syntax highlighting).
