The new 1.8 svn support uses svnkit 1.8.3-1 rather than the latest 1.8.5. We should try and use the latest available stable version

1.8.5 is not yet available in maven central. The latest is 1.8.3-1

As soon as it is available we can switch to 1.8.5

1.8.5 is available from the Tmate repository 
http://maven.tmatesoft.com/content/repositories/releases/org/tmatesoft/svnkit/svnkit/1.8.5/
However, I'll log a request on the Tmate user list for 1.8.5 to be pushed to maven central as well - these kind of requests have been honored in the past.
