Select from the editor some classes and press CTRL+C and paste it in other ecore diagram editor. The the model is copied in the .ecore file, but in the .aird file there is no information. 

In Show/Hide elements are the copied elements also not visible.

Thats right I reproduced it with EcoreTools 2.0.0 and the steps you gave.

To fix this we can either make Sirius have this behavior by default or define a specific copy/paste tool for EcoreTools, I know it has been done in UML Designer already.

We'll try to fix that pretty soon.

A build fixing this issue is available either through this update site :

http://download.eclipse.org/ecoretools/updates/nightly/2.0.x/luna

Or by using the "Install Modeling Components" wizard available in the "Help" menu and selecting "EcoreTools (Updates)"

Feel free to reopen if this fix is not working for you for some reasons. And thanks again !
