Description Ed Willink CLA 2014-04-11 07:18:30 EDT
JDT/PDE offers three useful quickfixes for the manifest

Add 'xxx' to imported bundles
Add 'xxx' to imported packages
Add library with default annotations to build path

Please make this more consistent by changing the last one to perhaps

Add 'xxx' to build path

Then once Bug 400031 users may see all three grouped to gether and not inadvertently use the wrong one.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

Surely it cannot be stale since no one has yet commented? Either the JDT-UI team has ignored this bug, or they have accepted it albeit at its minor priority.

This looks to have been fixed. Attempting to reproduce I see

 org.eclipse.jdt.annotation

in the quickfixes.
