Add more documentation to the structural features of the setup meta model in order to have more information show up in the status bar.
We have submitted a proposal for the new Oomph project: http://projects.eclipse.org/proposals/oomph A major driver for the creation of a new project is the demand to let Oomph manage IDEs and workspaces that haven't been installed with the Oomph installer. We plan to postpone all major development on the current sources in cdo.releng until the proposal is approved and the new project provisioned. We apologize for any resulting delays. If you think that this particular bugzilla is exceptional and needs our immediate attention feel free to explain why.

@Pascal Has this been fixed/resolved. Is the bug still relevant?
Most of the models just have the default descriptions that are quite unhelpful...
(In reply to Ed Merks from comment #8) > Most of the models just have the default descriptions that are quite > unhelpful... Hi Ed, would the easiest way to document those be adding comments inside the * <!-- begin-user-doc --> * <!-- end-user-doc --> tags? I'm not familiar with EMF/Ecore, so I'm not exactly sure where the documentation should be. Also, is using project->generate javadoc the way you guys do it to update the documentation? Thanks!
No, it's the GenFeatures that need Property Description, which changes how the property descriptor is generated in the item provider so that it references the property in the *.edit project's plugin.properties.
Moving all unresolved bugs to version 1.5.0.
