I download ecjsrc-3.7.2.jar and ecj-3.7.2.jar form http://archive.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.7.2-201202080800/
then I build ecjsrc-3.7.2.jar(include build.xml)with ant .
And then I get ecj.jar . but it does not the same with ecj-3.7.2.jar
I can not understand why

I could not find ExtraFlags.class and SourceElementNotifier.class in the ejc-jar which I get through ant ejc-source (In reply to Manoj Palat from comment #1)

I forget the package name 
it is org.eclipse.jdt.internal.compiler

And also 
In the org.eclipse.jdt.internal.compiler.parser
I could not find TypeConverter.class

May the ecjsrc-3.7.2.jar and ecj-3.7.2.jar to the different versions?

Postponing this for 4.5 as we are busy with Java 8 bug fixes. But let me assure you that the files that are missing in the binary are not required by the compiler. If anything, those files should not be in the source jar in first place.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
