Currently, the xtext plugins cannot be imported from the repository as the Eclipse-SourceReferences tag is missing from the manifest. I'm not sure if it is possible to add with the current layout of the repository but this would be a nice feature to have.

We are aware about this. Unfortunately the build system we use, doesn't allow us to add such an entry for git repositories.
