This is about scaling up, e.g. wrt the NWA DSL. A larger-scale model typically consists of multiple models in different projects. (or in the same project, fragmented models etc.) If a model need access to a model in a different project in the workspace we can import the required model package from that other model. What we cannot do is to create a hyperlink to a diagram in that other model (diagrams are not visible for selection), a link users then click on to navigate to that other model. (and open the diagram/model, of course) This bug depends on a number of other bugs which should be reopened and retested wrt this missing feature.
Fixed in bug 3570ba374e4b733ada1d83edc288e8ed199b6e37 on master branch
Is this one fixed in the latest nightly and in a different/simpler way compared to what Laurent demo in the youtube clip? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUeHG0CvMDE I just tried it and I cannot see any difference in way-of-working.
This is now fixed, and "Load resource" is not required anymore. This covers the different kinds of Hyperlinks: - Dynamic hyperlinks (Alt + Hover) - Static hyperlink (Green "+", or D&D a Diagram from the Model Explorer to an Element in another diagram) Details in Bug 429239
