I created this bug to discuss the following:

- How to avoid errors as in Bug 400930?

- Should dragging a component from one project to another create a reference to the component or copy it? / Should references between projects be allowed?

- Is there a better way to replace a component than to delete it (which may cause dangling references) and create a new component with the same name?
