When comparing two CDO resources from different sessions or in different branches, it is difficult to find out in the Diff-Dialog (side-by-side view), which resource is from which sessions / branch. Would it be possible to add some titles to the view to make that more explicit?

In the attachment, is the model from Transaction 2 on the left side or on the right side in the compare view?

When CDO is opening the Compare dialog/editor for EMF Compare, it will have to specify the left/right/ancestor label to the compare configuration.

So wherever you create the org.eclipse.compare.CompareConfiguration, you should call setLeftLabel etc...
