Using the nightly incubator build of "org.eclipse.rap.dropdown.feature.feature.group" version "0.2.0.20131030-1000". 

In IE 8 entering text gives the following error message:

Works fine in IE 9, Firefox and Chrome.

I can not reproduce it with current master of RAP and DropDown using the drodown demo. However, I currently can not test it in a real IE8, just IE11 in compatibility mode.

The standalone dropdown demo (org.eclipse.rap.addons.dropdown.demo) is working fine for me in IE8 - dropdown from master against RAP 2.2RC1.

I'll close it as WORKSFORME. Please reopen if the issue persists with RAP 2.2 release.
