When I import a .jar file I see only the last two packages in the tree of 
packages and they are empty. I asked the .jar be added to my 'project' and 
included all file types...Am I missing something or is this broken???

BTW it would be great if you could get this IDE as close to VAJ as possible!!!!

Could you please provide build number and a reproducable test case?
Attach your jar file for further investigation.
