Switching from the old xpand templates to the new Xtend2 templates (@see bugzilla #418006) will require some work from users who used xpand ASPECT's to modify the default GMFT templates in the past.

Our own migration experience shows that 100% automated migration is nearly impossible.

The most practical way we have found was to run the set of pattern-based search/replaces and then fix the relatively small amount of the compilation problems.

So before declaring the xpand language deprecated, GMF T will at least publish

- guidelines on migration of GMFT /aspects.
- some tools that assist user with migration, even if it still will require some post processing.
