Back in 2007, GMF Tooling supported the RCP generation option. 

Since than the whole way of how RCP application is structured has completely changed because of the E4, and originally implemented support is now clearly outdated.

In Luna release GMF-T should either get rid of existing generated RCP generation options or re-implement them to target E4-based RCPs
