As mentioned in bugzilla #417783, native support for XCore models will have a good value for those DSL practitioners who are now forced to use only textual syntax for instance modeling. 

Although Xcore artifacts includes the "normal" EMF models and it is technically possible to target them in the diagram definition models, the native out-of-the-box support shall be added in Luna release.
