Description Wes Isberg CLA 2003-08-21 08:19:26 EDT
It would be nice to have an option (e.g., -XlistAccessChanges) to emit info
messages listing the changes made to the accessibility of any affected types or
members. This would enable people to know about and manage the changes when
compiling against libraries built with ajc, e.g., with declare errors.

Further, it might be nice to abort access-hoisting with an error if some
prohibited types were affected.

This is a perfectly valid request, but we have no immediate plans to implement it and I'm not aware of any
other user requests for this feature in the last 2 years so I'm moving it to the "LATER" state for re-
consideration in future release planning.

LATER/REMIND bugs are being automatically reopened as P5 because the LATER and REMIND resolutions are deprecated.
