Description Steven R. Brandt CLA 2013-09-13 18:08:07 EDT
At the September 13 PTP meeting in Chicago I made a presentation of my concept for a GUI Terminal, which allows the terminal to interact with Eclipse/PTP. I would like to make this plugin an official part of PTP.

Before your contribution can be accepted by the project, you need to create and electronically sign the Eclipse Foundation Contributor License Agreement (CLA) and sign off on the Eclipse Foundation Certificate of Origin: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/Contributing_via_Git

You can then do one of two things: either commit the code to Gerrit, or attach a patch to this bug.

If you commit via Gerrit, it might make a good case study for our Gerrit tutorial at the next developer meeting.

The org.eclipse.remote component of the Eclipse Ecosystem has a new home. It is now part of the Eclipse CDT project[1].

This change means a new Git repo[2], P2 site[3] and Bugzilla component. The org.eclipse.remote will continue to be delivered as part of the quarterly Simultaneous Release of Eclipse as well.

If this bug is no longer relevant, please feel free to comment or close the bug. If you can confirm if this issues still occurs in the latest release please do let me know in a comment.

[3] first CDT release will be 10.6 - P2 site will be

(This comment was added to all relevant org.eclipse.remote bugs along with changing the Product/component pair to CDT/remote.)
