Description Jan Philipp Wiegmann CLA 2013-08-15 07:17:34 EDT
Currently we get the cell at mouse position via the product of the average character width and the amount of characters entered in the cell.

We do not consider cells where the text is larger than the column width and therefore is truncated at the right border. If we run a test working with mouse positions on the cell to the right of the long text it is possible that we get the wrong value and borders (The cell with the long text).

This is indeed critical, I just stumbled upon this issue while fixing some problems in our nightly tests. To check the right value in a column in the Test Result Summary table I have to display all columns before it because if I don´t the wrong value is read.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
